Key Responsibilities:
· Manages and directs all aspects of the day to day Manufacturing Engineering Department efforts 
· Works with Tech Ops, Engineering and Operations to prepare and execute project plans leading to cost effective, high quality, high yield, world class manufacturing capabilities 
· Maximizes efficiency, productivity and quality by analyzing process controls and capabilities, layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization 
· Relies on data collection and analysis, plus experience and judgment to plan and acmocplish goals and institute change 
· Develops the technical resources within the department to support continued improvement and cost reduction
· Acts as an advisor to subordinate staff members on mocplex technical problems
Job Qualifications: 
· 8 + years experiences in optical mocponents or precision machinery manufacturing, or other related industrial experience 
· BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
